Lloyd Chamberlain IV

Lloyd William Augustine Chamberlain IV has not been legally declared as deceased.  This is an acknowledgement of Lloyd William Augustine Chamberlain IVs life.

A year ago, on February 14, 2016, our sweet, intelligent, athletic, passionate hero, Lloyd William Augustine Chamberlain IV was inexplicably taken from his family and friends while working at a livelihood he held in reverence. He loved fishing and worked hard to obtain his OUPV/Six-Pack Captain's License. Born in Salisbury, MD on February 25, 1978, he was 37 years old. Soft-spoken and mindful, Lloyd was always ready to offer a warm and welcoming hug. He was a lover of golf, the Redskins, the Orioles, the Florida Gators, and Yuengling. Kind, strong, and handsome, he was known for his methodical assembling of his recipe for seafood chowder, and his 5 hilarious and charming best man speeches. He was adored by his family, and treasured by his many friends. Considered a fun uncle by his nephews, he was always ready for a pick-up game in any sport. Multi-talented, no undertaking was too large. Remembering Lloyd is his true love, Melody Russell, her family, especially her children Evan, Lily, and Ella Waters, devoted mother Marilyn Chamberlain, loving sister Melanie Blawn Chamberlain, her children Liam and Luke; their father Mike Blawn, admiring brother Daniel Chamberlain (Melanie Branson), their children Eddie, Hannah, and Warren, paternal grandmother Loel Barnes, paternal aunts and uncles: Peg Sigrist (Jeff), Chris Chamberlain (Tanya), James Chamberlain (Lisa), Nick Chamberlain (Chrisie), Rhonie Wolff (Dave), Ginny Carey (Scooty), John Chamberlain (Mary), Celly Evans (Curt), Rachel Zabin (Doug), maternal uncles: Doug Bozman (Debbie), David Bozman, 32 first cousins, best friends Mike Carney, Jason Cope, Mike Myrick, many loyal friends and beloved dog Birdie. Lloyd was grief stricken when in October of 2008, his father Lloyd Chamberlain III succumbed to heart disease during surgery, and one month later, his best friend, Shawn Waters unexpectedly perished. Also missing from Lloyd's life was his paternal grandfather Lloyd Chamberlain Jr., and maternal grandfather Orille Bozman, both of whom passed away when Lloyd was a baby. His good friend, maternal grandmother Louise Bozman passed in 2015, and aunt Marguerite Godwin passed in 2011. Lloyd nurtured and cherished his black lab Buddy, until Buddy's body gave in to degenerative myelopathy. Lloyd was a 1996 graduate of Merritt Island High School, attended Brevard Community College, and Stetson University. The family would like to thank the Coast Guard, Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida Fish & Wildlife, and so many people from near and far who helped with the search efforts. Lloyd's unforeseen absence has deeply affected the hearts and lives of so many. Our memories and our love will sustain us.
