Corey A White of Manheim passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Lancaster he was preceeded in death by his son Corey Jr, his father Charles H. Hollinger, Jr, Step-mother Deb Hollinger and Step-Father Calvin Madara.

Surviving are his wife Cherie White of Lititz, a daughter Jennifer, 4 step-daughters Sheila & Tamny Lisette from Roanoke VA, and Amy & Holly both of Manheim, PA, 3 grandchildren all from Roanoke, VA.

Corey is also survived by his Mother Darlene Madara of Marietta, and siblings - a sister Jody Taylor of Marietta, 4 half brothers Gary of Portland OR & wife Nancy, Mark of Lancaster, Tim of East Petersburg and wife Jen, Charles of Manheim Twp.and wife Rachel. Three step-brothers Randy Madara of Reading, David & Donnie both of East Petersburg.

Corey spent most of his life working in Mfg jobs as a lift truck operator. Corey enjoyed skydiving but most of all he enjoyed his children and loved when they were all in town. Corey was also an organ doner which gave us a lot of insight to "Gift of Life" a fabulous organization.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Rachel Hollinger (nurse) & sister-in-law for her support and caring during this time. Many many thanks and appreciation to the nurses & Drs at LGH who cared for Corey during his stay at LGH. Special thanks to the Team of nurses Allison, Sarah, Michelle & Allyssa in the Neuro Trama unit that worked 24/7 by Corey's side. You guys are remarkable!

Also many thanks and appreciation to the "Gift of Life" representatives Corey & Diane who work tirelessly to give the gift of life to those in need.

Coreys organ donation has helped the lives of 3 individuals in the Phila area. His liver went to help a woman at a Phila hospital and his kidneys saved the life of two individuals also in the Phila area.

There will be no viewing and a Life Celebration memorial services will be at the descretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Corey's memory to:

My dear husband; when we were not living together as husband and wife; I thought of you at times and wandered how you were doing. You were such a kind giving person with a kind and giving heart, if someone needed a shirt you would give the shirt off your back. Yes we had our good times and our bad times; the good times is what I think of the most and will stay in my heart forever. There is still love in my heart for you; I am not going to say good-by but I will say till I see you again, you are in the Lord's hands and now and you can rest in peace Corey. Love Cherie

Corey has always been there for me and it breaks my heart that he passed away and I haven't seen him in such a long time.I sent him a birthday card a couple weeks ago but I should have called I hope he knows how much he meant in my life and how much I love him. After my Dad passed when i was 12 he stepped in even before that he was there for me. And no words can express how painful it is to know i cant send him funny cards and words of love anymore. Til i see you again ill just have to hold my memories close.

Our Sincere Condolences' to you and the family. I was very sad to have read Corey has passed. My family met Corey many years ago when we were your parents neighbors on Chrismar Way. Corey was a very kind, down to earth person. He always had you laughing. Our thoughts and prayers are with use all during this difficult time. God bless Jennifer, Joe, Rhiannon, Joey & Colleenia

My dear brother Core! Back as far as I can remember we had a special bond although we lived our separate lives you had the kindest heart of anyone I know. The many years growing up I wouldn't change, it has made us who we are today. Now that the lord has taken you home all of your troubles are gone. Rest in Peace my Dear Brother Corey.
