Actively participating in French language clubs into her 90's, she loved everything about the culture. She adored all animals big and small and always pined in her heart for Biff, the family's beloved long ago pet boxer. When younger and spryer, June was a magnificent cook especially with the German cuisine of her heritage. As a young mother she gave of her time to the cub scouts and PTA. She loved large family gatherings and being surrounded by family and friends especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Gregarious and intellectually inquisitive by nature, June and her husband Marvin, a Metropolitan Life Insurance manager, spent many a happy time in festive social activities and civic endeavors before and after retirement and were members of the Casas Adobes Congregational Church.
